2026: The year of the repeat client!

This year is shaping up to be full of new projects with repeat clients – the current count is 12 families and two businesses. It’s such a treat and a compliment to be invited back into homes again to help folks refresh or pick up new work. It feels a little bit like grabbing coffee with an old friend – catching up on family life and all the things – gasping over how big the kiddos are and how old we are.

There are many reasons our clients pick up the design thread with us again, including:

The family’s needs have changed – the playroom isn’t needed anymore, the teens need a better hangout space, etc. We enjoy reimagining with our clients how to tweak a home to better suit current needs.

Now, they’re ready to tackle their basement. And this is the inspo they gave us! Fun!

“We’re finally doing it!” – The kitchen, the primary bath, the basement – all common renovations folks put off because they are pricey and intrusive – but it you’ve got a trusted relationship with an interior designer who already knows you and your vibe it becomes a bit easier to take on the big projects.

foyer interior design

These clients are ready to move on to their fabulous but a tad tired foyer and living room.

The money tree grew:). What a treat when the budget can finally accommodate the dream or the neglected space. Sometimes these are rooms we may have already touched with a light reno or some lipstick on the pig, and it’s so fun to help our clients knock out the waited-for vision.

lake house interior design

We are helping long-time clients give their lake house a mini refresh this spring.

It’s time for an update – This spring we’re working on two dining rooms we designed for clients more than 10 years ago. The rooms are ready for some fresh energy – the furniture might stay, but the lighting and wallpaper could get switched up – not sure yet but it’s fun to do some light lifting for a refresh.

Here's the inspo board for some new barstools for a client whose awesome family has outgrown the original barstools we picked 10 years ago.

Whatever the reason we are back in our client’s homes, it’s pretty seamless because we already have good flow and a sense of how the family lives. Lucky lucky us to get invited back!

This was another repeat client we had the pleasure of working with again last year.
