A glow-up for a repeat client’s primary bathroom

Repeat clients are a dream, and we have a bunch of them! Remember this kitchen reno

Well, this past summer we tackled the primary bath for these homeowners. One of the major perks of having already worked with a client is that project flow moves quickly and the design process is relatively simple because we already understand the vibe and look the homeowners are after.

The existing bathroom was large and had great light – but it lacked any real storage and didn’t utilize the space well. Note: Console vanities can be pretty, but they work best in spaces that don’t need a lot of storage – powder rooms or bathrooms with other storage options.

Great space, great light, but not a great utilization of either.

We designed an airy, modern space with warm accents and cleaned up the random layout of the original room.  The vanity is really a show-stealer – a custom walnut piece with thick countertop details we lovingly referred to as the “fat lip.”  We develop some funny vernacular on jobs sometimes.:)

The tub got cocooned in an arch below the window for a really special spot for a soak, and the shower and water closet were minimized in their visual footprint.

We also snuck in a little primary bedroom refresh – custom curtains for ultimate room darkening make for a hotel-like experience and some updated furniture for lounging.

We were also lucky enough to partner with DeGroot Construction again on this project – dream team!
