The adjoining bar becomes a jewel-box moment of its own. Rich walnut cabinetry, dramatic stone and brass-and-glass shelving give the space a distinctly bespoke feel and turn a hardworking feature into a focal point. Our genius moment came when we decided the existing family room bookshelf should be ditched to dedicate space to a bar.

This shift allowed for the addition of a true mixologist’s station — bar sink, undercounter refrigeration and stunning custom bistro shelving. The true star is the Arizona quartzite we all fell in love with at the stone yard.
