I’m currently sitting on my favorite piece of furniture in my home — a vintage skirted chaise with roll arms and tufting that I had reupholstered in a beautiful blue performance velvet. Once the weather turns in the fall, I start each day here with my coffee by the fire. (Pro-tip - I’m thankful EVERY DAY that we converted the original 1920’s fireplace into a gas log set that turns on with a button. Sure, I miss the smell of a real fire, but not enough to give up the joy of having that coziness whenever I want at the touch of a button!) - Tasked with writing about Thanksgiving, my chaise is the place to be.
We have lots to be thankful for at THI – rad clients, rad projects, rad teammates, all the things. I thought it would be fun to do a little interview of what each of us appreciates most about our work – and I’m getting responses privately from everyone so the big reveal amongst the team is this post – here we go!

I am soooo thankful that I love all the people I work with. (Good job Rach curating our team with amazing humans!) I would truly choose each of them as friends even if we weren’t co-workers. An environment of caring, trust and respect really makes it a joy to come to work.

I am so thankful for my co-workers at Two Hands. I truly enjoy coming to work. We support and celebrate each other personally and professionally. I am also thankful for getting to work with so many different clients and vendors. I like helping people be happy in their spaces.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to help coworkers as they transform spaces into something beautiful and I’m grateful to play a small role in that process. I also love that the team enjoys working together and that it is a collaborative work environment.

I am grateful to get to work with such a talented, creative, kind and funny group of women, who have definitely increased my laughter frequency this year. They have also inspired me to remember the importance of finding/making beauty in this world (especially with foraged flowers and finds in vintage shops).

I'm grateful to work with such a wonderful group of women who are creative, considerate, and kind. Who are unbelievably funny and make me smile every day.❤️
Well shucks, we all really love each other:). Reflecting on this thread of responses, I am thankful that the ground of mutual respect and support on our team has facilitated the creation of some really amazing projects with some wonderful clients – it’s such a gift to craft beautiful, unique spaces with this group of humans – thank you, team!!
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving with those you love.
