Third time's a charm for this fabulous client! We loved being invited back to the “Preppy Vintage Charmer” - this go round was to finally address a never-used office that had become a dumping ground for all the stuff of life. The goal was to create a library-lounge for reading, music, cocktailing and relaxing. The design brief: No television needed and comfy, moody and eclectic were top priorities.
We swung for the fences with a vintage rug, amazing Schumacher wallpaper, eclectic and colorful lighting and simple walnut bookshelves. The blue velvet sectional fits snug into the space for lounging and a vintage burlwood desk picked up on a southern antiquing trip is a nice spot for some work or to stage a bar for drinks and snacks.
