A KITCHEN INSPIRED BY A PARIS HOTEL

Project

Completely redesigning the long and narrow kitchen was the ask, and we went bold with gorgeous blue tile and cabinets, stunning quartzite, warm walnut and the prettiest wallpaper to set the tone. The long island accommodates ample prep space, a second sink and seating, and the dramatic alcove hood bookends the space. At the opposite end, a mustard banquette offers a pleasing pop of color and that pendant adds even more interest.

Inspiration

THE HOXTON, a boutique hotel in Paris, was the inspiration for this kitchen. Our clients had stayed there and were drawn to its warm woods, glamorous lighting, historic vibe and interesting pops of color. Our job was then to bring that into reality within the standard constraints of budget, architecture and function.

Client

These North Shore clients were too fun to work with. Bringing in a strong vision for aesthetic and some wonderful art that nods to their heritage made this job collaborative in all the best ways.
